“Urban Creators is a North-Philly based collaborative, that fuses food, art, and education to build equity and self-determination in their neighborhood.” Urban Creators was selected by Make a Mark as one of the inaugural non-profits to participate in Philadelphia’s first make-a-thon. The challenge: build awareness in the community and visually communicate the impact they’ve had in order to increase donor funding. The solution: 1) A reusable event schedule that Urban Creators can update on their own to create printed posters and post on their social media channels. 2) Infographics that illustrate the impact that they’ve had on the community for print collateral, social media, and presentation decks. 3) Cover design for a book that will share stories from the past 10 years and the history of the land they operate on. This project was a collaborative effort between Aly Agoff, Aurelia Kare, Esen Pence, Ian Kimble, and myself and organized by Make a Mark PHL.
