Pennsylvania Ballet’s annual fall gala celebrates the start of the season at the elegant Union League of Philadelphia. The 2017 Fall Gala theme was inspired by two of the full-length ballets featured in the 2016-2017 season: Ben Stevenson’s Cinderella and Artistic Director Angel Corella’s take on the pirate-themed Le-Corsaire. I worked with the Gala Committee to design an invitation that melds the fantastical worlds of Princesses and Pirates together. I attended the event as an official photographer, capturing the excitement of dancers and guests in front of a custom-designed step and repeat.
